CANCELED - Still Standing Strong

Due to rising Covid concerns, Vinson Hall has canceled their September 11th commemoration. 

September 11, 2001 was a day that shook our country and the world. Now, 20 years later we reflect on the values that enabled communities like Vinson Hall Retirement Community (VHRC) to endure. We also honor those who gave so much to their country, communities and neighbors.

VHRC is asking NOSC DC for 20 volunteers to help with the event. Your time would be greatly appreciated!

We hope you will join VHRC on Saturday, September 11 from noon to 3 p.m. on the VHRC campus for our event, Still Standing Strong, at which we will celebrate our strength and pay tribute to the heroes who live among us.

At the event guests will enjoy a delicious, complimentary barbecue lunch provided by our Dining Services team.

Our event will also feature musical entertainment from: Vinson Voices, members of the West Point Alumni Glee Club, the Potomac School Concert Chorus, and the Shedkickers!
