Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS)

Event update: Painting will not be part of our time at TAPS this month. All of their tokens have been painted, but there is other work for us to do.

Each month TAPS reaches out to newly surviving families who have experienced a military loss. They provide resource kits which are tailored to the specific needs of each family.

NOSCDC volunteers are getting together to assist TAPS as they prepare these kits and also prepare items for their upcoming gala.

The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) offers compassionate care to all those grieving a military loss. Since 1994, TAPS has provided comfort and hope through a national peer support network and connection to grief resources, 24 hours a day, seven days a week at no cost to surviving families and loved ones.
